Caldera has announced a new update for its prepress solution PrimeCenter. Starting August 17, Version 2.1 will be available to all users, with an improved user experience, more flexibility, coherency and performance.

Caldera has announced the release of updated drivers for both Canon Colorado 1630 and 1650 models, to make them compliant with the printers’ new firmware.  

CalderaRIP is now compatible with Roland Camm-1 GR2-640 and GR2-540. These new drivers expand the company’s portfolio of supported peripherals for digital cutting.  

Caldera has announced the release of drivers for the Roland TrueVIS VG3 & TrueVIS SG3 models, making them compliant with the latest version of CalderaRIP software.

French printing software company Caldera has announced the official support of Mimaki JV100-160 and UJV100-160 printers for CalderaRIP Version 15. These new Mimaki drivers expand CalderaRIP’s long list of supported peripherals for wide-format production. 

CalderaRIP software is now compatible with the D.gen Papyrus G5 DCM. This new driver with DCM configuration expands the company’s portfolio of supported peripherals for digital printing. 

Highlights of this new version include a brand-new user interface, a range of flexible fixups for file preparation, faster nesting, and a recipe queue for enhanced automation. Additionally, OS support has been expanded to include Windows 11 and macOS Monterey.  

Highlights of this new update include an improved nesting algorithm, CalderaJobs’ compatibility with Windows, and four exclusive features for CalderaCare subscribers. In addition, this update supports the cutters of French manufacturer VERSO, and more than 42 new Print & Cut drivers have been added to the V15.1 ISO. 

Caldera has announced the support of several Hanway printers for CalderaRIP Version 15. This range of printers expands the software’s list of supported peripherals for printing corrugated packaging.
